IACC ION Tech Fund Webinar

In late 2018, ION Asset Management which has deep Australian roots, launched the ION Tech Fund, a long short hedge fund investing in publicly listed global technology stocks, but with a philanthropic twist. ION decided to use this new fund as a platform to give back to Israeli society, and committed to donating 50% of their management company’s net profit from this fund to charitable causes locally. Two years on and this fund has had stellar returns. In 2020, ION ended the year with net returns of over 51%, and has already donated over US$250,000 to various local charities.
